when somehow, everything you've done
and everything that has come to pass
were meant to happen
even if, for a time, you doubted so much
not even a semblance of hope remained
and yet, here i am. these days
living the fruits of serendipity
embracing once again hope
who i once called traitorous
how long should this last, i wonder.
